Anthony has been a mentor since the program began in May, 2000. Since then, he has risen to the Lead Mentor role and has recently been named the program coordinator at Elmwood Park. Thanks to Anthony's leadership, Elmwood Park's program has done nothing but get better over the years.
"With the state’s help and guidance, Elmwood Park has strived for excellence with its PNG program. It is also important to note that the mentor’s roles in our success are deeply appreciated, without you guys our class wouldn’t be what it has become. It is truly a joy when we see past students wanting to rejoin the program. It is a dedication to striving for new and improved ideas, fearless leadership, creative mentors and a strong student base, that makes PNG @ Elmwood Park such a wonderful and popular program."

Louie has been around for a total of four sessions, beginning in October, 2003. His two main strengths are web design and image creation in Adobe Photoshop. He can also handle the extremely technical issues that may come up. It is nice to have Louie around in the computer lab.
"PNG is an excellent program and I am proud to be a part of it. Working with the kids is a lot of fun, and we all learn something from each other. I feel that I have grown as a person since taking on the role of a mentor."
Will Hayes
Mentor

Will has been a mentor for one session, starting in September, 2004. His witty remarks and sense of humor add a lot to the atmosphere of the computer lab. He is instantly liked by the mentors and students alike and provides a great contribution to the program.
"The experiences that the students receive here is great. I know, being a member of the first session of PNG. The good times and the many lessons I encountered have helped me many times in school. I would encourage anyone wanting to make friends, learn new material, and have fun, to sign up!"
Diane Macior
Mentor

Diane has also been around for one session, starting in September, 2004. She knows how to easily relate with the students, which can be quite helpful, especially if the class is a rowdy bunch. Her mentoring skills are improving with each and every class, and she is a great addition to the Elmwood Park team.
"There is nothing I can say that someone else hasn’t already said, but it has to be done. It is a great learning and growing experience for me as well as the students and that’s how it should be. It’s loads of fun and I enjoy the students that have gone through the program while I have been apart of the Project Next Generation Program."
